Grade‑2 white recycled PS pellets
PS (Polystyrene)
PS is a colorless‑transparent thermoplastic, one of the general‑purpose plastics with high transparency. Core features: good optical performance with light transmittance over 90%. It is rigid and brittle, glass‑hard but low in impact strength and susceptible to cracking. It offers outstanding processability and electrical insulation with low molding shrinkage and good dimensional stability. Its disadvantages include poor heat resistance (long‑term service temperature generally not exceeding 80 °C) and unsatisfactory weather resistance, which makes it prone to yellowing by aging.
Main Applications
Daily‑use articles & packaging: disposable tableware such as plastic cups and food containers, transparent CD/DVD cases, stationery (rulers, pen holders), toys and food‑packaging vessels.
Electrical & electronic products: instrument housings, lamp shades, insulating films and high‑frequency capacitor components.
Construction & thermal insulation: Expanded Polystyrene (EPS, commonly known as styrofoam) is an important lightweight building material for wall heat preservation, sound insulation and cushioning packaging.
Please specify your additional requirements for impact resistance, gloss level, flame retardancy, heat resistance, environmental compliance, surface pits and other physical‑property parameters.
MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.
